Oud Angkor uses agarwood from the legendary Cambodia region of Pursat. Distilled in 2014, this oil has been ageing for almost decade before we managed to obtain it from our artisan in Singapore.
It is boozy, thick, resinous, sweet oud and these notes are prevalent for a long time before it dries down to a more hearty woody amber scent. Truly one of the most calming and enjoyable oils on the market today, a true masterpiece.
This oil uses 40% wild natural incense grade wood and 60% wild kyen wood. The distillation was done with drinking water, and each pot distilled for 20 days in copper pots using a hydro-steam system.
